Introducing The Embodied Breath

A deeply practical course built for:

"Anyone who has tried breathwork before but wants a more personal approach learning which practices feel supportive for them rather than following a one size fits all method."

-

"People who are curious about somatics and embodied movement and want to learn through sensing and experiencing rather than simply being given information."

-

"Yoga practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of Prana, pranayama, the Vayus and the embodied experience of breath."

-

"People who feel stressed, overwhelmed or “switched on” and would like to explore breath practices that may support regulation, grounding and relaxation."

-

Movement & Your Breath

Rather than forcing the breath into a particular place, you'll use movement to create awareness, space and connection, discovering how breath and movement influence one another.

Your Breath, Your Body
Your Breath, Your Body

Explore how your breath can influence your posture, movement, strength and the way you feel in your body, including the relationship between breath, pressure management and pelvic floor function.

Understand Your Nervous System

Learn why your body holds stress and how the breath is involved. Learn Breath practices that help regulate your nervous system.

Practical Breath Connection Tools

Master a toolkit of evidence based techniques from box breathing and extended exhales to somatic release practices that you can use anywhere, anytime.

Build a Sustainable Practice

Create a practice that actually sticks. You'll design a personalised practice that fits your schedule and evolves with your needs. No guilt, no pressure.

Weaving in Pranayama & Modern Practices

Explore how directing our awareness towards different areas of the body can influence our experience of grounding, receiving, centring, expression and expansion through the lens of the Vayus.

You take around 20,000 breaths every day. What if you learned their language?

Your Questions, Answered

Yes, and the science is clear. Controlled breathing directly activates the parasympathetic nervous system (your 'rest and digest' mode), lowering cortisol and heart rate within minutes. It's not a placebo. It's physiology. The Embodied Breath teaches you to use this mechanism deliberately and consistently.

Most breathing exercises fail because they're taught in isolation, a technique without context. The Embodied Breath gives you the 'why' behind each practice so your nervous system actually trusts it. When you understand what's happening in your body, the techniques land differently.

This is a self led course, in fact I would advise you to take the course really slowly, commiting to maybe only ten to twenty minutes a day so that the information absorbs easily and some of the practices become standard daily practices. The course is designed for real, busy lives, not hour long retreats. Short, consistent practice is far more effective than occasional long sessions. You'll learn how to weave breath connection into your existing routine so it becomes second nature.
